  1. Avoid Tension & Nervousness

    The most important tips:

    • Make sure you consume the right foods during Suhoor
    • Exercise
    • Have a lot of sleep or relaxation
    • Set limits to digital devices (phone, computer, etc...)

Follow a balanced diet. The main causes of tension during the month of Ramadan are:

    • A decrease in water
    • The return on stimulants - Addiction to cigarettes & shisha
    • Hypoglycemia
  2. Healthy Iftar:

First, start your breakfast with three grains of dates. Second, a glass of water or milk. Third, start your meal with a warm bowl of soup: it protects from swelling and rich in fiber, helps to lose weight. Finally, power yourself with a main dish. Of course, moderation is key to a perfect health!

  3. Dry mouth

Generally, a person becomes dehydrated when the salivary glands stop producing saliva in the mouth. Avoid drinking caffeinated beverages, especially during Suhur, as it leads to accelerated dehydration and diuretic results.

  4. Ways to Overcome Hunger

    • Reduce salt and sugar.
    • Avoid sources of caffeine.
    • Be sure to drink adequate quantity of water.
    • Divide your meals.
    • Get enough sleep.
    • Avoid any hard physical effort during Ramadan.
  5. Number of Hours of Sleep

Fasting itself does not affect the quality of sleep and does not cause increased sleepiness during the day.
Changes in sleep during ramadan may be due for a change in lifestyle. Sleeping 6-8 hours a day maintains sufficient mental and physical rest. Lack of sleep leads to tiredness during the day.

  6. Benefits of Fasting For the Skin

    Cleansing the body & pimples.
    A cleaner skin.
Treatment of skin diseases. The relationship between Ramadan and the health of the skin is positive, since fasting reduces the amount of water in the blood, thus decreases in the skin, which leads to increase the immunity of the skin and reduction of problems of acne, boils, pimples and oily skin.

  7. Avoid Losing Weight

Take the breakfast in two stages; First, start with eating dates, salad, soup. Second, go to the Maghreb prayer, and then eat the main course.
Avoid drinking water while eating, so that your stomach does not fill up
Daily nourishing meal should be obtained.
Eating large amounts of fluids gives you a sense of fullness.

  8. Smell of the Mouth

Bad breath is a common problem in the month of Ramadan:
Take a teaspoon of honey one hour before you start fasting.
Consume less salts and sugars during Iftar and Suhur as much as possible.
Clean your teeth well using toothpick and mouthwash.

  9. Fruits to Avoid Thirst

Watermelon contains 92% water and sugar that helps you feel refreshed and not feeling thirsty during fasting.
Fruits compensate for the lack of fluids, vitamins and minerals that you will be losing while fasting.
Fruits contain natural sugars so it is the right dessert for those suffering from diabetes.

  10. Sleep after Eating

Do not go to sleep immediately after Iftar or Suhoor. Sleeping after eating a large, fatty meal increases your inactivity and reduces digestion efficiency. Therefore, it is preferable to avoid sleep after the meal for at least an hour and a half. However, it is fine to relax a bit after eating.
