You are traveling by plane, so you might have to deal with your airplane ear a condition caused by the imbalance between your middle ear air pressure and the air pressure in the surrounding environment. Usually, airplane ear strikes the most because of the fast changes in altitude either while the plane is taking off, or while landing. You can always take simple precautions to avoid the feeling of uneasiness caused by the condition. Yawning, swallowing, or chewing gum can prevent or improve your ear symptoms. If the condition persists, you will need to contact your doctor.
